"I have had a policy with Roger's office as well as some "personal" connection from prior employment. I am dealing with sudden vision loss, and have to have surgery, one eye at a time. I phoned to discuss suspending my car insurance since I haven't driven since mid-May. Christopher assisted me, and at 1st I decided to keep "garage" coverage. I ended up speqking to Christopher at least 3x. I ended up keeping garage coverage. Then I phoned back to discuss other options, and was serviced by Michelle. She said "Chris always gave wrong answers, so he's no longer with us." After discussing my options, my attached renter's Insurance to my auto insurance. In the end, I decided to not keep my policy, bc I have no idea when I will be able to drive again and it didn't make sense to me to pay for insurance when my vehicle is not on the road. BUT here's the thing, neither Christopher or Michelle knew enough, nor did either one know their job scope well enough, to inform me, that a vehicle with a lien holder still requires comprehensive coverage. Now I am in the worst predicament ever! To re-write my canceled policy, State Farm wants to charge me $250 per month! From $120 per month, and as a senior citizen and with a drive time of 1.6 miles, 5 days a week to my office. Kathy's response (the person Amanda said could help with my policy) said the more than double monthly payment is due to State Farm's rate hike. Four individuals at this State Farm office failed to he able to convey the requirement, that a lien holder on a vehicle, would not accept a total auto policy cancelation. So absurd! And now I am left in worst predicament ever. I cannot drive till I have eye surgery, and yet to have a new policy will cost me MORE than double my former insurance payment. Yet these employees are licensed to sell auto insurance?? How Unbelievable!"
